Queers in the city are all ready and excited to see Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha on the big screen. And their men and gay friends! Yes, we are very excited.
What kind of NYC gay guy wouldn't?
And, to see Jennifer Hudson with the girls...top that! It would be priceless.
And then there is New York City's mystical charms - its incredible streets and sights to behold. Her people -- the savviest consumers on planet earth.
But sadly the story is all about Carrie Bradshaw. We queers like Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte, too! And not to mention their guys and gay friends. So, to me, the movie is incomplete in that sense. Cos it was all about Carrie Bradshaw. And Carrie is an unrealistic character. No freelancer writing and breathing air in Manhattan could live like she does. Or making 50 cent per word at Vogue! But yes there are so many freelance writers who get laid and get nailed every night by willing men but I can assure you that none could afford all the Manolo heels and endless round of cosmos. Not in the Big Apple.
