Yep, I attended the first Pink Slip Party tonight in downtown San Francisco -- about 300 creative workers within the IT industry showed up and networked. It was fun seeing people, (professionally skilled and experienced queers and straight IT professionals) from developers to PR specialists alike, clinking glasses and exchanging stories and ideas. They were people who might have to fight for the not very many new jobs (and lower pay) very soon...
