Let's eat!

Let's eat!
This month we cook a lot of dishes from Singapore and Malaysia. Singapore and Kuala Lumpur are a melting pot bubbling over with tourists, inhabitants and expatriates from all parts of the world, and these people naturally have diverse eating habits. Through the ages, the Chinese, Malay, Indians and the foreigners (westerners) have cast their influence on Singapore's food recipes and there is no doubt that Singapore is a food lovers' paradise. We are bringing the fantastic Singapore/Malay dishes to you and our friends who will be couchsurfing with us...Cheers! Tiger & Marlon

Obama's White House, Clinton's Team

As President-elect Obama forms his administration, he's including a lot of familiar faces. Nothing new as he has promised the American people who elected him. Many of Obama's picks—for his transition team, his staff, and his Cabinet—are people who worked in the Clinton administration. Where else is a Democratic president going to find people with executive branch experience? True. There are more qualified republicans than democrats. American people are realizing that now.

But as far as queers are concerned, we are still hoping for Obama to express his unconditional support for Gay Marriage in California. We do have rights. But we don't have EQUAL rights. We want Equal rights.
