I Saw it tonight and thought the Academy Winner,Philip Seymour Hoffman was better than great. Hoffman (with another notable Academy-Winner, Meryl Streep, as the lead actress), is more than spectacular, playing his reel-life character as a (boy-caring) priest. Hoffman and Streep carried this movie to the end effortlessly, telling an intricate and very delicate story about the quest for truth, the forces of change, and the devastating consequences of blind justice in an age defined by moral conviction. I love this movie not because it was a good movie (it was so so, to be perfectly honest), but because it was acted so perfectly and beautifully by Hoffman and Streep.
