Queers are not allowed the same rights but continue to pay their state taxes equally...Where is justice?

Okay. So Prop 8 passed. We are truly saddened. 51% of you have decided to let the world know that queers are second class citizen. Queers are not allowed to get married to the ones they love. They are not allowed the same rights under the state constitution as any other citizen. Do they still have to pay their state taxes because they are now only half citizen? Do you think that is fair to make queers pay taxes and not give them the same rights? This is not only disturbing but also humiliating.

The rich queers will not want to donate to the state of California. Why should they? Ellen and Portia, Lance Bass, T.R Knight, and all the other superich queers and their superich partners, superich friends and fans in California will be a little excited to keep their bazillion bucks that they pay in taxes too. And...what recession? We're gay!

Newson is right -- it was a great opportunity (for local and national economy considering the multi-billion gay marriage market, etc) until our rights were stripped away.
