Now that we have a black president, who is next? Sarah Palin? A gay president, a transgender, an Asian president, a jewish, a muslim president?

No way! A woman president, maybe, in four years...that is possible. But a muslim? Not a chance, not in this lifetime! But that's what they said about a black president many many years ago. One fine day we will have a gay president, asian president, jewish and muslim president.

At long last, we heard some people saying: "When will we have a Jewish president?" The answer, it turns out, is "Not before we have a black president." America let the black people go first. And suddenly everything become possible, right Oprah, Jesse Jackson, Maya Angelou, Chris Rock? No?

Or, should Obama and the black people thank George Bush and his administration from the deepest bottom of their hearts for all Bush's screw ups and the bad economy?

If that is not the case, then maybe it is true -- everything is now possible. If a black man can do it, we all can do it. Yes we can, right Oprah?

We can now just imagine that all ethnic groups play this game of "when will one of ours get there?" But now that a half-African man with Muslim ancestors has defeated a white war hero and (a popular woman governor) an Episcopalian with a Roman numeral after his name, the bookmakers have to move the odds for all of us. When will an Asian woman or man be the president of the United States of America? Soon I hope. Hope we don't have to stand in line behind a jew or a muslim
