If hope is the theme and change is the goal....then listen to Sarah Palin

I think it is interesting to watch right-wing journalists like Jack Cafferty of CNN and other “liberals” twist in the wind trying to paint Palin as an empty, weak, and in some cases amoral woman. It’s all pretty disgusting, but also expected. There is no doubt now that the thunder of criticism from the left over McCain’s VP selection is fueled by one thing: fear. Fear of a competent, compassionate, thoughful woman who seems to have a pretty clear vision for our country, our government, and our potentials as citizens of a nation that we can be proud of. As a luke-warm republican who often wishes that our country would take the time to listen to people like Ron Paul a little more, and Ralph Nader a little less, I was pretty stunned to hear a new republican clearly represent so many of the ideas and hopes that so many of us have for our country.
