Change! What Change?

Obama's misguided notion that "marriage is only between one man and one woman" is NOT change that million of us queers can believe in.

So why should queers vote for Obama if he is not doing his bit to help them? Why should LGBT voters vote for him if he is not willing to improve the quality of their lives? The saddest part is knowing that Obama will not create change. It is no surprise that many queers in this country are saying that voting for McCain (whom they think is the more honest enemy) is better than voting for Obama who keeps saying he is a change and hope agent for straight people. When it comes to same-sex marriage, Obama is worse than McCain. Coming from McCain, it is understandable. And queers don't expect much from McCain to support gay marriage. McCain has never promised gay people change and hope. But, and at least, with McCain and his team, they have clearly stated their case. They have not given us high hopes. They have not lifted us up with promises of change and hope.

We thought Obama was different. We thought he would be the one to create change and to give us hope. Obama's change is no change at all. In fact his message of hope and change is not only insulting but also humiliating.

What we have learned:
More democrats are going to vote for McCain. The polls are 50/50. Should have been favoring Obama with all the ads, the money, the endorsements and the media attention (and the media bias).
They are bitter because Hillary was not treated fairly by the media during the primary process. Their mission is revenge.
Obama is too naive and too greedy -- he is desperate to be the president and his wife is desperate to be the first lady. They didn't consider Hillary to be the VP, knowing she is the best out there and knowing he could learn a lot from her. If Obama is a real democrat, he should have given Hillary the nomination because she is better than all of them to lead this country.
To more than 20 million supporters Obama is very inexperienced, too young, and too naive -- trying to change the economy, healthcare, tax cuts, foreign policies. Supporters now realize that Obama can never bring back the jobs and improve the economy...and he is planning to leave Iraq alone (knowing you cannot just walk out on Iraq), he is no better than McCain.
People feel betrayed with Obama and they believe in McCain. If their lives depend on it, they will vote for McCain. Not Obama.
Even Obama's own running mate Joe Biden (who must have regretted saying it being a hypocrite he is) has said it very clearly on national TV -- "Obama is not ready to be the next president"
