San Francisco's sky is falling

Built 67 years ago, Golden Gate Bridge (left), has truly become more and more popular among the broken-hearted and the lonely ones especially of late. GGB reportedly is very popular among the troubled heads. They are people who have nothing left to live for, have chosen to end their lives there, ending their miseries and pains by jumping off into a paradise.

Yes, more and more people want to end their lives at the Golden Gate Bridge. It is easy to understand. What a spectacular way to end the pains and loneliness. Free-falling into a paradise! But now, those who are still thinking about jumping off the bridge, are shaking their heads in disbelief! What? Barrier riffs! Here's the thing, when you want to die so badly, you will find a way to do it. No? Barrier riffs or no barrier riffs.

There is a better way to prevent people from killing themselves there. We can use trained and skilled personnels, instead, to prevent more happy jumping sessions at our precious GGB. Barriers are very costly and they cannot stop crazy heads from jumping. People who go to the Bridge in the middle of the night are those who have no way out, who have nothing left, who do not wish to see another daylight. They just want to die. And they will do anything to jump even if they have to outsmart the barriers. If we hired a few people to man the bridge day and night, they should be able to stop guys and girls from ending their lives there. Also, it is always good to know that there are very trained and strong people stationed at the bridge. Like the guards at Buckingham Palace. I think it is better to use people rather than spending million of dollars on "the great barrier riffs" as headlined recently in the local papers. San Francisco Suicide Prevention should really think about that.
