Miss Venezuela 2008, Dayana Mendoza!

Her name is Dayana Mendoza. The 22-year-old Miss Venezuela is the new Miss Universe 2008. She was crowned by Riyo Mori (last year's winner from Japan) at the conclusion of the 57th annual Miss Universe competition in Vietnam tonight. All eyes were on Dayana as hosts, Jerry Springer and Mel B, named the Miss Universe 2008.

Dayana, closed her beautiful eyes and crossed her heart (see her on Youtube), as the announcement was made..."And the 1st Runner Up is... Miss Colombia". Dayana's jaws dropped as Miss Colombia was named the 1st Runner Up. It was a beautiful, international moment for Dayana and Venezuela.

Dayana and three other Latin American women -- Miss Colombia, Miss Dominican Republic, and Miss Mexico, made the final five. The 5th, Miss Russia. Gorgeous women! The pageant, held in a little town, Tra Nang, north east of Ho Chi Minch City in Vietnam, couldn't be any gayer and queerer. Great location. Great evening program. Great hosts -- Jerry Springer and Mel B. And a great winner -- Dayana, the 5th winner from Venezuela.

Dressed in her gorgeous yellow evening gown, her main rival was (of course and as always) Miss India. But the Indian beauty didn't make it to the top five. For me, Miss India should have been there instead of Miss Colombia -- who is just a normal, beautiful woman. And Miss USA instead of Miss Russia. Miss India and Miss USA, on the other hand, are more than beautiful, they are visually stunning women -- they would be perfect beauties for Longines, Rolex, Omega, Chopard and other big international household names that represent women's strength and compassion.

And what is wrong with Miss USAs? They keep falling down! Like Rachel Smith in 2007, Crystle Stewart, (below) tripped on the train of her bejeweled evening gown as she made her entrance. But like always they know how to get up and retain their confidence and composure.

Very very beautiful, Crystle, got up gracefully, clapped her hands, worked the crowd confidently and walked with so much pride. Talking about being classy. That's Miss USA for you. Crystle was definitely a top five material instead of Miss Russia. Crystle's body -- to die for! A true American beauty.

We queers are proud of you Crystle.

But it was Dayana that stood out. She was queenly-looking, a class above the rest. Her hair, her big smile, her big soulful eyes and her figure -- a heavenly beauty. Below, Dayana, the universe's most beautiful woman, showing off her gorgeous gown and incredible figure.
