Even if that is true, who cares? I mean other than a few constipated American queer journalists who want to be the first to out Cooper, who really gives a fucking shit? Yes it'll be something for queers to talk about for a couple of weeks but who Cooper is seeing or dating or moving in with is his business, not ours. So what if our #1 favorite newsman is dating an assistant to Barry Diller beard Diane Von Furstenberg? So what if he was dumped by a 22-year-old JD Ordonez, a marine mammal trainer in California as rumored? We also read that Cooper is trying to settle down with a 24-ish guy. Someone heard that Cooper asked him to move in and that the boyfriend accepted. That is a good news (if that's true!), it's definitely a great piece of news coming from Cooper.
The vicious side of the Cooper boyfriend rumor has the young man temporarily using Cooper for his money, and planning to toss him aside when the novelty wears off — or at least pretending this is the plan for the sake of his more disapproving confidantes. But that could also be BS circulated by jealous gay friends! And it's not like Cooper couldn't be using his boy toy for his own selfish purposes. A live-in layabout could handily prevent any more of the anchor's many stalkers from moving in! Is this new boyfriend one and the same as Von Furstenberg's assistant? We don't know and we don't care.
