It is so good to be back in San Francisco! The beloved, pretty, sophisticated and digitalized home of friendly queers. This month is a special month to queers around the world -- a time to celebrate and to shout out loud "I am queer. I am proud. And I am here".
The theme for this year's festivities is "United by Pride, Bound for Equality" which reflects San Franciso's commitment to securing equal opportunity for people of all orientations. More than 300 exhibitors and 19 stages scattered around Civic Center comprise the two-day festival, with live music and dance ranging from "Homo Hip Hop" to Country Western and lectures by famous members of the LGBT community. The main event is the Pride Parade which will begin at 10.30am and travels from Embarcadero to Civic Center along Market Street.
