Yes. Absolutely. No need to take out our gaydar to figure that out. The constant attack by the Obama campaign on Hillary continues to draw blood. And, good for Hill, voters now want to switch their position -- they now want to vote for her.
The media has not been very fair to Hillary, either. Many big editors, columnists and anchors have been hard on Hill, asking her to quit now even when they know about half of voting Dems and Bill want her to hang on in there. Truth is about half of voting dems still believe Hill is the stronger candidate to beat McCain and to be Commander-In-Chief and the President of the United States.
Do you believe there is a media bias against Hillary Clinton?
Let's eat!
This month we cook a lot of dishes from Singapore and Malaysia. Singapore and Kuala Lumpur are a melting pot bubbling over with tourists, inhabitants and expatriates from all parts of the world, and these people naturally have diverse eating habits. Through the ages, the Chinese, Malay, Indians and the foreigners (westerners) have cast their influence on Singapore's food recipes and there is no doubt that Singapore is a food lovers' paradise. We are bringing the fantastic Singapore/Malay dishes to you and our friends who will be couchsurfing with us...Cheers! Tiger & Marlon

Talking about homosexuality...we are not talking about the sex part...
The ex gay industry rests a great deal on the insecurities and fear of, if not the gay person...those that can act as agents to pressure a gay individual into their counsel.
Parents, teachers and clergy make up such people that CAN apply pressure.
And with such real ulitmatums if not outright threats likely, that very much invalidates that a gay person seeks such therapy and change entirely on their own.
Were such pressures eliminated, only then will I believe that they even have such persuasive ability to motivate someone gay to care about changing.
And more's the point, such change is almost entirely religiously motivated. And this again, begs the question, can a Christian call their faith just that if it requires such monumental pressure and gravitas to make a gay person trust them?
Change is possible, but the other caveats are not mentioned and THAT is what annoys me most of all.
And mostly it begs these questions too:
Why is change necessary? And what's it to you if a gay person doesn't? - John Corvino

Who is gayer and queerer?
Hill or Bam? Forget McCain. None is more gayer or queerer than the other. None have said the things we want to hear. To Bam, don't give us hope or change. That's too much. Enough already. We queers don't need hope or change. Hill, give us what we want and the registered queers will vote for you. Stop offering us hope or change guys. Just make it better. Make it sucks less.

Go Hill, go!
Former President Bill Clinton told reporters while campaigning Saturday in Girardville, a tiny town in the coal region of northeastern Pennsylvania, that Democrats calling for his wife to drop out of the presidential race should let the remaining states vote.
Clinton told reporters that Leahy (a senator) does not want his wife to compete in states like Pennsylvania because — in his words — "she might win."
"We just need to relax and let this happen. Nobody's talking about wrecking the party," Clinton said. "Everywhere I go, all these working people say, 'Don't you dare let her drop out. Don't listen to those people in Washington, they don't represent us.'"

When is economic optimism coming home from a holiday?
We queers constantly wonder just how much longer will this take to play out and if this is the worst period of market stress we have experienced...Or will it be just like usual? That every period of prolonged turbulence seems to be the worst until it is resolved?
Finally David Marash quits Al Jazeera English
The New York Times reported that an American anchor left Al Jazeera English Channel (100 million households worldwide), citing increased editorial control. David Marash, the most prominent American anchor on Al Jazeera English was quoted as saying "To put it bluntly, the channel that 's on now -- while excellent, and I plan to be a lifetime viewer -- is not the channel that I signed up to do". Marash was a former correspondent for ABC's "Nightline".
Tibetan Queers, we are thinking of you
Beijing believes that the only way to quell the spirit of the Tibetan people is via brutal repression. The current escalating crisis calls into question Beijing's policies. The issue is not that Dalai Lama is a poor politician, but that politicians are unwilling to effectively oppose China's colonization of Tibet. It is just too much. As an international observer, Queergam thinks it is irresponsible for politicians to close their eyes on China and ignore the situation in Tibet.

A change = a woman president
In the end, does it matter, who becomes the next President?
A black man or a woman? Pick one. Talking about a new beginning and a change. That's a start. But unfortunately, none of them have said "Okay gay people, go ahead and get married, get divorce, get separated, do whatever you want with your life, go adopt kids, sue each other like straight people do all the time. Fight it out like we straight people do. This is America, we get it, just vote for us, ok?"

Day of Silence
Day of Silence Nears, Bringing Protestors For and Against National School Event

Thursday Mar 20, 2008
As we approach the annual "Day of Silence," educators, parents and students across the country are grappling with two opposing camps on a day dedicated fighting anti-gay bullying, harassment, name-calling and even murder in America’s schools.
The 12th National Annual Day of Silence is scheduled for Friday, April 25. Organized as a grassroots project, it was conceived by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) in collaboration with the United States Student Association (USSA). Students are encouraged to obtain permission from their school before organizing and participating in the Day of Silence, though it is not required. On that day, students will keep silent to remember especially Lawrence King, the California student shot and killed by his 15-year-old classmate at a school in Oxnard, Calif., in February.
"Students will volunteer to stay quiet all day and hand out cards to explain their actions," GLSEN spokesperson Daryl Presgraves explains. "Students can stay silent at lunch and in between classes. They can also keep silence when they wake up and before bedtime. It is easy to participate." Students themselves appear to be firmly in favor of the Day of Silence, with more than 300 schools in the country scheduled to take part.
But a nationwide coalition of Christian and "pro-family" groups led by the American Family Association (AFA) oppose the Day of Silence. These groups are calling for parents to keep children out of schools that day. AFA head Donald E. Wildmon is urging schools and students to boycott the Day of Silence. He calls it "a deliberate, irresponsible nationwide push to promote homosexual lifestyle in public schools."

My new inspirational message for queers?
We queers deal with political issues in the things we do (one way or another), which candidate do we think gives us the best chance at change and of improving this country? Hill, McCain or Bam? My take on BAM's "change" is this, don't give me hope BAM! It's too much. To McCain and Hill please tell us it's going to suck a little less. And we'll vote for you. That's my new inspirational message to gay America. No more change. No more hope. Enough already! Just hope that it is going to suck less.

Client #9 -- very unattractive and classless
Client #9, if he was still the Attorney-General, would have prosecuted people who did what he did very vigorously. Many people could not accept his apologies yesterday. We can truly begin to understand their feelings. The lovely, kind-hearted wife and mother behind the scandal must now grow a spine! Move on and move on alone.

Can Gays save Hillary as Spitzer resigns 15 mins ago?
Forget Missisippi. Bam won. Good for him. That's not a big deal for Hillary.
A much bigger deal is Eliot Spitzer's stupidity -- yes, his hypocrisy and stupidity, could hurt Hillary's campaign. She has to do something about it now. And quickly. With Spitzer now out of sight, that's costing Hillary one more super delegate!
Hillary should call Mrs. Spitzer, Silda, and the children -- innocent victims going through an agony that not many people understand other than Hillary Clinton. How horrific it must be for the Spitzers to go through all this! Our hearts go to Silda and her three daughters -- great kids we've been told.
But when you are living in New York City, especially as the governor of this greatest city on planet earth, there's no escaping the intense media scrutiny. The headlines have been cruel and intense. This is certainly a classic, another personal NY family tragedy. It is a very painful, agonizing process for all of us who love this city.
Our Hillary stood by her man when it happened to her. She supported him. And she continued to love him. People/voters alike should see that about Hillary. She is the ideal Commander-In-Chief. Proven and tested.
People say there's not much to talk about Bam, at least sexually. Gays, please. There must be a dark side somewhere. Sooner or later someone will find out. No one in politics is either perfect or clean, sexually at least. Everyone is horny.

National Coalition Urges Parents to Keep Kids Home on “Day of Silence”
But why? DOS is organized to protect LGBT kids, promote peace and harmony at schools.
Why would a nationwide coalition of Christian and pro-family groups do such a thing -- calling for parents to keep children out of schools on Friday, April 25, 2008 — the day when thousands of middle schools, junior highs, and high schools will observe the 12th Annual National Day of Silence?
As a concerned gay man, having many god-loving friends who have kids in schools, I have to say that the Christian and pro-family groups, nned to rethink their position and support the DOS. To against DOS means to support the killing of LGBT kids.
Buddy Smith of American Family Association said in the recent press release: “It’s outrageous that our neighborhood schools would allow homosexual activism to intrude into the classroom.
My reaction to Mr. Smith: "Day of Silence" is not about coercing students to repudiate traditional morality. It’s time for Christian parents to respect the LGBT children some of whom have been cruelly and senselessly murdered, molested, abused in schools by straight students and teachers.
“Day of Silence” is promoted by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), a homosexual activist group that targets schools. The event is typically organized by a school’s Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) and is designed to pressure students to regard homosexual, bisexual, and transgender behavior as normal and worthy. Students and even some teachers remain silent throughout the school day, disrupting the teaching environment. Protesters wear t-shirts and hand out “speaking cards” protesting alleged injustice, harassment, prejudice, and discrimination toward “LGBT” people and their “allies.”

Can Gays Save Hillary Clinton?
Yes. And we will. For those of us who can vote, vote for Hillary in Missisippi and Pennsylvania.
Where do Malaysians go from here?
Malaysian ruling party claimed a win yesterday, BUT Malaysians seriously voted for political change after 50 years!
Malaysians clearly want some serious change.
For five decades, Malaysia's ruling national front was enjoying a massive majority (90% of the seat on average). But Malaysians awoke on Sunday to a vastly altered political landscape after voters suddenly and unexpectedly questioned five decades of political status quo and decided it was time for a change.
According to a Reuters today, the result from Saturday's elections were still being counted on Sunday morning, but the protest vote looked to hand an unprecedented five state assemblies to the opposition and cut the coalition's majority in federal parliament to a record low.
Oppositon leader, Annuar Ibrahim, (was once accused and jailed for being a "homo") is writing a new chapter, redefining a new moment. There is no doubt that the national front has suffered a serious setback -- security fears.
The last time when the party lost in the Parliament in 1969, a state of emergency was declared, and at least 200 people were killed.
The Future:
Malaysia is definitely a great place to do business and the government has been business friendly. Regardless of political party, we expect these good things to continue because it is good for their constituents and good for the export-oriented economy.
Economists said foreign investors may stay on the sidelines in the short-term to see how the opposition strength would influence economic policies. There are a lot of uncertainties, a lot of risks, but it may turn out positive. It can be a catalyst for change in the right direction.

Hillary is back and gays love her. You go girl!
"I am just getting warmed up" Hillary said the day after in Ohio. All eyes were on Ohio and Texas the day before. Her hubby, Bill, recently said it was a do-or-die primaries for his wife. And then all eyes were on Hillary Clinton. She won! Both Texas and Ohio - the bellweather state, as they call it. She won the hearts of America! Finally. And Bam's momentum was broken. In Rhode Island our Hillary led a huge margin, too. And we love her even more for that. But that doesn't mean we don't love BAM. We love Bam, too. Some of us just don't think BAM is that good enough to pick up the call at 3am in the White House. That's all.
Truth is, we Americans have a lot on our plate these days, we do have a lot going on -- security council OKed new sanctions for nuclear program, cold front brought high winds, tornadoes and snow to southern plains, a gunman killed man and self at Wendy's, schools left in dark after beef recall as drugs ads surge, many of us get meds we wouldn't otherwise, and yet our physiscians carelessly and greedily prescribed them to us (because the doctor is always right!), our young heroes die one by one everyday in Iraq, our Wall Street is in deeper shit, and all that shootings and killings in public schools and other places, and babies are being abandoned and toddlers/teenagers are being abused and killed, and Arnold Schwarzenegger is supporting CA state's ban on same-sex marriage, we desperately need a new president that is ready to handle all the shits.
As we are analyzing the side effects of our badly shaped economy, the war that is costing us a lot of money and children, the NAFTA, the healthcare system that is so screwed up (according to many Americans today), the tax issues and ridiculous drugs ads as stormy weather are forming again along a cold front stretching across the middle of the nation, we must stop for a second and ask ourselves: Who is gayer and queerer of the two Democratic presidential candidates? None, did I hear you say?
Well, let's give Hillary a chance. Vote for her. That way we can give BAM a few more years to learn a thing or two about the White House and the phone calls, and let him gain more skills in polishing his big, lenghty, deep, thought-provoking, dramatic speeches. We like him for that. We really do. Great speeches always. But we like Hillary's easy-breezy, simple ways - provide the solutions and get the job done.
And then ---there is one more problem we queers have to deal with -- American Idol's new discovery -- David Archuleta!!! Can he be any more cuter? His smile melts us, his voice wows us. He will lead the stage and this nation, he will bring us together. Imagine...
